Apply to be a Health Careers Opportunity Program (HCOP) Ambassador!
The HCOP Ambassador program is designed to help health professional students develop leadership skills relevant to underserved healthcare populations.

As an Ambassador you will:

  • Gain experience in working with an underserved population
  • Complete a short community-based project/research and present a poster
  • Mentor high school and undergraduate students interested in a health career
  • Receive mentorship and/or training from a faculty
  • Receive a $1,000 stipend

Eligible students include:

  • Medicine (MD, DO)
  • Nursing (BSN, MSN, DNP, PhD)
  • Dentistry (DDS, DMD)
  • Pharmacy (PharmD)
  • Physician Assistant (MPAS)
  • Public Health (MPH, PhD)
Students must have about two years remaining in their program to participate.
